Impeccable execution, flawless functionality, all in the name of proper relaxation: Sled is one of the new beds in the Sleeping Authentic design, a collection that develops in-depth research into the culture of sleeping and incorporates, together with the products designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, the new proposals by Piero Lissoni and Philippe Starck. Cassina has analysed every single structural and ergonomic aspect of the bed: the proposed solutions have slats equipped with multi-directional movement, calibrated mattresses to adapt to the different postures of the body and differentiated anatomical support springs, all separated and individually covered. The bed is not just a machine for sleeping, but also an element of scenery that influences the sleeping area with its presence: this is the characteristic feature of Sled, a true star of the space. Designed to brighten up the centre of the room, Sled expresses the expert joinery of the very best Cassina traditions. The headboard ends in a shelf at the top which perhaps makes the bedside tables futile, although they are available and designed by the same designer, just like the desk with asymmetrical top. The bed is available in two models and in different sizes.
