Gathered on a single surface, the plates with 18 different decorations cover a srface ares of 1m2: this is the thinking behind the name of the collection, Metroquadro (square metre), split into 3 versions made up of 6 mise en place. Paola Navone, Richard Ginori 1753 artistic designer, designed them referring ironically to the Buon Ricordo dishes, souvenirs and milestones of Italian food cutlure. The decoration is applied onto the bottom of the porcelain plates, a process taken from the historical forms of manufacturing. An intelligent trow-back to the past, of which Paola Navone is a master.
