Ready Made Curtain

"The aim was to create a new system that would enable anyone to install quality curtains in record time. It takes minimal skills and a few toold; the margin for error has been calculated and perfection is not an essential requirement". This, in summary, is Ready Made Curtain, an assembly kit for curtains designed by the Bouroullec brothers in collaboration with Kvadrat. Each kit contains the fabric and the complete suspension system, made up of two wooden elements to be fixed to the wall, nails and the cable on which to hang the curtains. Fitting the curtains takes just a few simple actions, to be performed in order: fix the two mechanisms to the wall or ceiling, wind the spring to tighten the cable, attach the curtain hooks to the fabric, cut the fabric to the correct length and, finally, hang the curtains. Ready made Curtain presents curtains in two types of fabric: wool or non-woven fabric. Both are offered in three colour variants: from warm whites to deep and clear blues, to flaming red. An extension kit is also available for larger windows. With Ready Made Curtain, improving the mood of a room becomes a piece of cake.
