Biography
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have been working together since 1999. Today they design for numerous manufacturers, namely Vitra, Kvadrat, Magis, Kartell, Established and Sons, Ligne Roset, Axor, Alessi, Issey Miyake, Cappellini, Mattiazzi, Flos, Mutina, Hay, Glas Italia and more recently Iittala and Artek. Alongside this they work continuously on their experimental developments for Galerie Kreo in Paris, where four exhibitions of their designs have been held between 2001 and 2012. Further to this, they also embark on occasional architectural projects. Voted Designers of the Year at the Salon du Meuble in 2002, their other awards include the Grand Prix du Design (Paris, 1998) and the A&W Designer of the Year award in 2013. The brothers have had exhibitions devoted entirely to their own projects, as well as having work shown in many well-known museums throughout the world.
