VIPP Kitchen

Its presence in kitchens, bathrooms and doctor's surgeries is familiar to many: this is the Vipp pedal bin, in production since 1939, an icon product for the Danish company. It is no wonder that this classic pedal bin may have been the starting point for the design of a kitchen that fully encompasses its sporot. Morten Bo Jensen worked on a radical reinterpretation of the kitchen, through a series of modules, designed to be independent itmes of furnitures, which introduce into this room strong functional and visual cohesion. The Vipp experience lies in a product design that focuses on the awareness and use of durable materials (mainly stainless steel), on attention to mechanical and functional aspects and on purely industrial criteria combined with a precise aesthetic opinion on what constitutes good design. Transferred to the new kitchen, those criteria are translated into freestanding modules, precise in every detail, that can be mixed and matched in line with individual requirements.
