Ross Lovegrove has confessed to having been bewitched by the charm of Istanbul, crossed of worlds and cultures. But the designer was also unable to resists the chance of collaborating with VitrA, the company "that manages to create an entire range of products, from tiles to bath tubs, from taps to units, within one brand." The Flat washbasin seems to be the most representative object of this dual fascination: its sinuous shape unfurls from the pedestal to the basin in a continuous line, crowned by equally original taps and fittings.
