ELLE DECO BRITISH DESIGN AWARDS WINNERS
This year, the ELLE DECORATION British Design Awards celebrate and reward the best of the UK’s emerging talent
From hundreds of submissions by the ELLE DECO UK edition’s readers, the British team has selected winners in five categories: print and pattern, furniture, lighting, craft and accessories. All are up-and-coming designers who have been working for less than five years and have made a big impact in the last 12 months.
And the winners of the ELLE Decoration British Design Awards 2016 are:
Print and Pattern: Lisa Todd Designs We loved this designer’s prints for their colourful vibrancy and authentic African inspiration
Craft: Forest + Found This duo impressed us with their respect for natural materials and modern-rustic aesthetic
Furniture: H Furniture Combining traditional crafts with innovative shapes, this brand is definitely one to watch
Accessories: Silvia K This potter’s colour-splashed designs are an artisanal take on graphic patterns
Lighting: Bert Frank This London duo’s work caught our eye for its mix of mid-century and industrial styles
