The decorative elements become structural, with a double-sided leather or felt cover upon which self-modelling geometric incisions have been made. Resting on a supporting structure in tubular pre-tensioned steel, with polyurethane foam inserts, this is SKiN, a project in which research, technology, design and craftsmanship merge together to form a truly unique result. Whether armchair, sofa or pouf, SKiN possesses the originality that comes from genius, but also from the longstanding collaboration that links Jean Nouvel to Molteni&C, partners in many projects.
