The Carbon Chair suggests visual and physical weightlessness (the chair only weights 3.7 kg). The structure is a complex mass of carbon fibre threads and epoxy resin, woven in an apparently disorderly manner to create a sturdy body with original looks. The designers' intention was to turn a charcoal sketch on a piece of paper into a 3D version, a result made possible by executive skill applied to hi-tech material.
