Speed containers have a steel base and hollow wooden structure, with multi-layer laminate veneer that is scratch-resistant, varnished and embossed. Formal in shape and proportion, in true Carlo Colombo style, they do however feature touches of eccentricity, like the fabric-covered sliding door ( a floral design from the Missoni Home collection), or the serigraphed glqss with its huge circle pattern.
