ELLE DECORATION Turkish Design Awards
On February 24th, ELLE DECORATION Turkey held their Design Award ceremony awarding the best local design of the past year in 14 categories.
As part of the EDIDA voting process, each ELLE DECO edition presents their nominees for the first round either by holding their own local EDIDA event or by featuring them in their magazines.
For the 11th year running, ELLE DECORATION Turkey celebrated their Award ceremony and following party with 600 special guests in Istanbul. The best in design from the previous year was awarded in 14 categories - and for the first time this year there was a new category - "Special Honor Award".
THE WINNERS:
DESIGNER OF THE YEAR – OZON DESIGN (ATİLLA KUZU, LEVENT ÇIRPICI, DENİZ ÜNER) The team was nominated with Mantis Collection, T50 Desk, T80 Desk, Angle Magic Table, Aeroplano Lightings.
YOUNG DESIGN TALENT – CEREN DABAĞ, nominated with FEEL, ceramic collection and also ONE, lighting and table collection.
EDIDA SPECIAL AWARD – FARUK MALHAN, founder of the KARYA ACADEMY in 2015.
