ELLE DECO DESIGN AWARDS HUNGARY
ELLE Decoration Hungary held their ELLE DECO Design Awards ceremony and party awarding the best in Hungarian design from the past year across seven categories.

ELLE DECO Design Awards (EDIDA)* Hungary celebrated the best of Hungarian design with an awards ceremony and following party at the House of Music Hungary on October 8th. Guests included the winners, influential members of the Hungarian design scene, and the internationally renowned jazz pianist, Károly Nyáry, who performed at the event.
The winners were chosen by a jury composed of Judith Osvárt, Editor-in-Chief of ELLE Decoration Hungary, Eszter Bertóty, EDIDA Hungary 2022 Designer of the Year, designer Sebastian Herkner, and Pál Koós, Deputy Director of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and Vice President of the Hungarian Design Council. After the official nominations, a public online vote gave readers the opportunity to choose the best nominees.
The winners across the seven categories are:
DESIGNER OF THE YEAR: Andrea Szakos, interior designer
YOUNG DESIGN TALENT OF THE YEAR: Stella Koleszár, glass artist
INTERIOR OF THE YEAR, PRIVATE HOME: Contemporary stone house
INTERIOR OF THE YEAR, PUBLIC SPACE: Uno Mas Tapas Bar
BRAND OF THE YEAR: Hannabi
PRODUCT OF THE YEAR: Zen Table, designer and manufacturer, Anna Szőnyi x Timbart
SUSTAINABLE INITIATIVE OF THE YEAR: Re-Built Glass Doors, sliding doors made of recycled glass
