British designer Lee Broom, who produces his independent designs under the brand that shares his name, has teamed up with Spanish brand Lladró to create a series of lighting creations inspired by the evanescence of paper lanterns. The pieces in the porcelain Cascade collection, which comprises three different types of pendant lamp and a table lamp, are all made up of simple geometric shapes, spheres and cylinders characterised by horizontal lines and opalescent surfaces that really play on the delicacy of the material. The result? A unique combination of the brand’s craftsmanship and the designer’s eclectic vision.
