The world becomes a surface upon which to walk: the masses of the continents are formed by fragments for a classic Persian rug, surrounded by wide expanses of blue to suggest the oceans. Mondo, the poetic rug in silk and viscose designed y Lorenzo Damiani, is part of the Magic Carpet collection, produced by Cappellini in collaboration with Diacasan, a project that involved another four designers. The ten Magic Carpets are all different and not just because of the imagination of their designers, but also to the use of different processing techniques.
