Biography

Tsuyoshi Tane, a renowned Paris-based Japanese architect, established ATTA - Atelier Tsuyoshi Tane Architects in Paris in 2017, marking a new chapter in his career following his co-founding of DGT. Architects in 2006. With a profound philosophical approach to architecture, Tsuyoshi is invested in the concept of “Archaeology of the Future,” a guiding principle that underpins his work. This concept explores the relationship between the memory of a place and its architectural expression, aiming to create structures that serve as a bridge linking the past with the future. Throughout his career, Tsuyoshi Tane has been the recipient of several prestigious accolades that celebrate his approach to architecture and design,including Chevalier de l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres (FR, 2022) or the 67th Mainichi Design Awards 2021.
