Biography
Faye Toogood is a multi-awarded British artist and designer whose work spans multiple disciplines, including sculpture, furniture, and fashion. She has a BA in History of Art and was Interiors Editor at The World of Interiors magazine before founding her London-based design studio in 2008. Her practice includes interior design, homewares, fine art, and fashion, blending different fields of design. At the center of her work is a restless spirit of experimentation and a joy taken in process and play. On each project, designers, furniture makers, sculptors, and interior designers cross-pollinate to produce work that is rigorous, poetic, and avant-garde. Toogood’s furniture has been exhibited at Phillips de Pury and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Triennale in Milan, D Museum in Seoul, the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, the National Theatre in Qatar, and Chatsworth House in Derbyshire.
