Laurids Gallée, born in 1988 in Austria and now based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, is a designer known for his innovative approach to interior design and decoration. Exposed to creativity from a young age, Gallée briefly explored anthropology before pursuing and graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2015. He dedicated the subsequent years to mastering various manufacturing techniques, contributing to his expertise as a craftsman in art and design production. By 2019, his studio had made a significant mark with its diverse portfolio, rooted in a keen interest in material experimentation and a love for both traditional crafts and complex production methods. Gallée's design philosophy harmoniously blends traditional and folkloric elements with modern materiality, resulting in a distinctive style that bridges classic and contemporary design.
