Biography
An architect and designer, in 1993 Carlo Dal Bianco opened his own office in Vicenza, Italy: a city representing a deliberate stylistic choice, becoming the starting point of an artistic career. He has always focused on the restoration of monumental and historical buildings, and has subsequently developed a section devoted to interior design and design. He was awarded the ELLE DECO international Design Award for his mosaic décor designed for Bisazza: ‘Pied de Poule’ in 2004 amd ‘Winter Flowers’ in 2006. Since 2001 Dal Bianco has collaborated with Bisazza designing global flagship stores for the brand, together with many of the mosaic decorations in their collection. He also worked on the master plan of their Corporate HQ and the ‘Bisazza Foundation for Contemporary Art’.
