MC A - Mario Cucinella Architects is based in Bologna and Milan, and today consists of over 100 designers. MC A specializes in architectural design that integrates environmental and energy strategies.
The studio has carried out projects in Europe, China, North and Central Africa, the Middle East and South America.
In 2015 Mario Cucinella founded SOS - School of Sustainability, a postgraduate training centre to create professionals in the field of sustainability. SOS collaborates in synergy with MC A.
In 2021 they participated in COP26, the UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, with the TECLA - Technology and Clay project, the first innovative model of an eco-sustainable 3D-printed home made entirely of local raw earth designed by MC A and WASP.
