About

Piero Boffi founded the first factory of his eponymous company in 1947, whilst his sons Dino, Pier Ugo and Paolo joined the company that same year. Since then the family business has gone through a series of important milestones, each reached as a result of an innovative strategy. One of these such milestones was in 1960 when Luigi Massoni began what would be a 20 year tenure as art director. Following this Joe Colombo designed the revolutionary Minikitchen in 1963. Boffi’s golden decade took place in the 80s, when the brand debuted in the bathroom sector with Luigi Massoni and was established as a worldwide brand under Piero Lissoni's refined direction. Boffi has become an international beacon of style with the opening of its first mono-brand stores in Paris, Milan and New York. In 2003 the famous Boffi Solferino store in Milan became the company's point of reference - where the entire Boffi universe is presented along with the brand's vocation for total living.
