On April 10th 2014 the ceremony was held in grand style, once again at the Teatro Manzoni in Milan and was placed under the sign of ‘Global Time’. The scenography based on light installations and animated clocks indicating the time of 25 metropolis worldwide emphasized the international aspect of the ELLE DECORATION network. This edition was organized with the support of 14 Septembre agency.

The Award ceremony traditionally takes place on Thursday during the Salone del Mobile in Milan, the world’s leading furniture fair. Generally the event is held in a different location of the city every year. It gathers the editors-in-chief of ELLE DECORATION editions worldwide who reward the winners of the year in the presence of major actors of the international design community.
