Biography

Eva Paster and Michael Geldmacher met during their studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich and established their studio "Neuland Industriedesign" in the Bavarian capital in 1999. Their shared design credo: "Products are the expression of an outlook on life. In keeping with changing values and systems, we look for new formulations. In this way, we come to re-evaluate functions and find a new aesthetic expression." Since 2005 they have concentrated on designing furniture for international clients such as Interlübke, mdf italia, Nils Holger Moormann, Kristalia, b-line and Magazin. The designers have received several prizes for their work, including the Elle Deco Design Award 2006, a nomination for the Compasso D’Oro 2007, the Chicago good design award, the IF product design award, a nomination for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany, wall paper design award 2011 amongst others.
