Biography

An industrial designer for the last 25 years of his life and passionately interested in industry, Mourgue pursued his career regardless of the media. His production reflected a constant concern with modernity and simplicity. He attached just as much importance to functionality and aesthetics as to the economic results of designed products. Mourgue was also a sculptor whose work has been shown many times all around the world and his exhibitons include ‘La Mémoire de l’Eau’ and ‘Brûlures de Terre’.
