About
Flou’s objective is to innovate the bedroom and create a new ‘sleep culture’. The launch of its ‘Nathalie’, a bed designed by Maestro Vico Magistretti, made design history and is now considered to be the mother of all ‘modern textile beds’, which subsequently became a furnishing division in its own right. Essentially they are soft, upholstered beds with removable and washable covers, where the sheets and bedcovers are replaced with brightly colored duvets. Flou’s complete collection is available in leading furniture stores in Italy and across the world, and also in Flou showrooms in Milan and New York. The company currently produces more than 50 different beds, from single to king-size, sofa-beds to studio couches, produced with fabrics, wood, leather, hide and other materials. It also produces the technical accessories including mattresses, pillows, mattress supports, cover fabrics, duvet covers in a wide range of colors and patterns, and furnishing accessories including chests-of-drawers, night-stands, occasional furniture, desks, armchairs, mirrors, lamps, poufs and bookcases. These collections are reviewed and often changed every year.
